Expect the Unexpected

We didn’t see this one coming!

While many programs at the church are being interrupted due to the Coronavirus pandemic, some discipleship and community groups at your church might still be meeting using various online venues such as Zoom, Google Hangouts or Skype. Other events have been postponed or canceled altogether.

This current crisis challenges our traditional concepts of community worship, discipleship, fellowship and scripture study. Evangelization experiences and discipleship courses such as Alpha© and ChristLife™ have their greatest effectiveness with in-person gatherings and small group or table discussions. In this #stayhome #staysafe climate, leaders have been creative in maintaining their connection with participants. With online meetings, participants will be able to see each other and share ideas in real-time on their smartphone, tablet, or laptop.

Online Meeting Integration Tip

If you use Mission Pathways software, you already have everyone identified by a large group session and by discussion tables or small groups. Export a file and use it to create Zoom’s breakout room feature in advance of your online meeting directly from the application. To find out how, visit our knowledge base. You will first be directed to the Help Center login page. If you do not have a login, email support@mission-pathways.com.

This is Mission-Critical

Once the roadblock is clear, Mission Pathways can be your best resource to reestablish nurturing your disciples on their journey.
